What My Clients Say

Marcin
Shane did everything for me, I got a training plan, nutrition plan and training advice. Honestly training is underestimated and I can see how lot’s of people can’t do exercises as they should. I'm also happy to call Shane my “friend” during past 3 years, I’ve become a good friend and I hope this friendship will last for years.

Ashley
The first step that changed my life, I reached out to Shane. For me the most important part of the process was checking in with Shane and sending photos weekly. This meant I was being held accountable, there was no hiding. It’s a step by step process and the satisfaction you gain from seeing your journey weekly is phenomenal.

Neil
I was approaching 50, looked in the mirror and did not like what I saw, so I took action and built up the courage to approach Shane Raymond as I admired him for many years. Shane and I worked together in which he tailored a workout plan and diet for me - I still train with him at his gym, Body Ethics. It's the best gym to build confidence - it's like a big family gym as everyone is treated with respect and dignity. I lost over 10kgs and am now on the next level to achieve more

James
I really wish I would’ve started with you sooner, I love the knowledge you have and how passionate you are about everything. I’m now in the best shape of my life, and looking forward to making even more progress!

The single-arm dumbbell row is a fantastic exercise for targeting and strengthening the muscles in your back.
However, there are a few common mistakes that many people make when performing this exercise that can hinder muscle activation and development.
The first mistake is not properly depressing the lat before initiating the movement.
Failing to engage and depress the lat can lead to reduced muscle activation and a less effective workout
To improve muscle activation and development, focus on consciously engaging and depressing the lat before starting the rowing motion.
A second common mistake is an incorrect arm path during the rowing motion.
Many people tend to pull the weight too high, leading to improper activation of the lat and potential strain on the bicep’s .
To perform the single-arm dumbbell row correctly and maximise muscle growth, focus on pulling your elbow towards your waistline rather than excessively high.
This will help to target your lats more effectively and reduce the risk of injury.

I’m a huge believer in this
“Never let your past dictate your future”
Just because you’ve always been a certain way, or convinced yourself that you’re a certain kind of person,
it doesn’t mean you can’t make positive changes and start working towards the life you deserve and that you’re truly capable of living
Imagine looking back at your life in later years with REGRET, knowing that things could and should of been different , only if you took ACTION
Thinking to yourself if only I took the ACTION to take care of my health and well-being I could of lived life on my terms,
With more ENERGY more CONFIDENCE and more STRENGTH physically and mentally, dominating every area of my life
Here’s the thing
It’s never too late to raise your own bar, and take ACTION towards an improved lifestyle
Once you take ACTION and gain CLARITY, momentum will follow, shortly followed by DISCIPLINE
resulting in an OPTIMISED version of yourself, so you can take back control and start living life on your terms

Foot placement during a squat will vary from person to person due to individual differences in pelvis size, femur length, and mobility range.
The common cue of feet hip-width apart may not be suitable for everyone.
Factors such as comfort, mobility range stability, and muscle engagement play a role in determining the optimal foot placement.
It’s important to experiment with different foot positions to find what works best for your body and goals.
Listen to your body, pay attention to how different foot placements feel, and adjust as needed for optimal squat form and performance.
Don’t be afraid to deviate from the traditional cue and find the foot placement that works best for you.
